The Meadow Top is a simple and relaxed top, knitted top-down. It is worked in a fine textured pattern with garter ridges every third row.

The front piece is knitted flat first, then stitches are picked up at the shoulders, and the back is knitted. The front and back are joined at the armhole for the body, which is worked in the round and finished with an i-cord edge.

As the shoulder width corresponds to the chosen size and thus the bust circumference, the shoulders will extend further onto the arms in larger sizes compared to smaller sizes. This construction gives the feeling that the top has a small sleeve, which is held close to the arms with an i-cord edge knitted simultaneously.

The top is seamless.

Measurement: Bust circumference: approx. 90 (97,5) 105 (112,5) 120 (127,5) cm. Length: approx. 46 (48) 50 (52) 53 (54) cm measured from mid-back.

Størrelsesguide: Meadow Top er en top strikket i retriller med bateauhals og let vidde i kroppen. Toppen strikkes med en helt enkel konstruktion, hvor overvidden korresponderer med målet over skuldrene. Det betyder, at jo større overvidden er, jo bredere er skulderpartiet. Derfor vil toppens skuldre vippe lidt længere ud over dine skuldre jo større overvidde, du vælger at strikke. Toppen har et positivt ease på ca. 10-20 cm og er designet til at sidde løst på kroppen. Størrelserne XS (S) M (L) XL og (2XL) svarer til brystmål på cirka 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) cm. Mål dig selv og vurder din størrelse, inden du går i gang med at strikke blusen.

Gauge: 16 sts x 28 rows in garter stitch pattern (2 rows stockinette stitch and 1 row purl) on 6.0 mm needles = 10 x 10 cm.

Suggested yarn: Approx. 200 (250) 250-300 (350) 350-400 (400) g Vaya from Lang Yarns (50 g =200 m).

Suggested needles: Circular needle 6.0 mm (60 or 80 cm), optional: a double-pointed needle size 6.0 mm for knitting the i-cord edge.

Difficulty: Experienced beginner – intermediate.
