Description

Agathe Socks – Delicate socks with elegant cables and timeless charm

Size: One Size

Measurements: Sock circumference at mid-foot = approx. 16 cm (stretched: up to approx. 24-25 cm). Length is adjustable.

Size guide: The cable pattern makes the socks quite elastic in circumference, allowing them to fit both a narrow and a slightly wider foot – approximately 16 cm to 24-25 cm in circumference. The length can be easily adjusted to match your foot length and shoe size.

Gauge: 30 stitches x 41 rounds in stockinette stitch on 3.0 mm needles = 10 x 10 cm.

Suggested yarn: Approx. 50-70 g Arwetta by Filcolana (50 g = 210 m) or Jawool by Lang Yarns (50 g = 210 m) or Meilenweit 100 Tweed by Lana Grossa (100 g = 420 m).

Suggested needles: Double-pointed needles (DPNs) 2.5 mm and 3.0 mm (15 or 20 cm), or circular needles 2.5 mm and 3.0 mm for magic loop. You may use magic loop for the Italian cast-on in the rib section and then switch to DPNs if preferred.

Difficulty: Experienced beginner – intermediate.
