Meadow Blouse English is a soft, summery, and feminine sweater with a simple and fine structure pattern with garter ridges every third row. The blouse is knitted from the top down.

First, the front piece is knitted back and forth, then stitches are picked up at the shoulders, and the back piece is knitted. The front and back pieces are joined to form the body, which is knitted in the round and finished with an icord edge. Stitches are picked up for the sleeves, which are also finished with an icord edge. The sleeves are knit with the magic loop technique, but can also be knit with a small circular needle (40 cm) or, alternatively, double pointed needles.

The blouse is seamless.

Measurements: Bust circumference: approx. 94 (101) 109 (116) 124 (131) cm. Length: approx. 43 (45) 47 (49) 51 (53) cm measured from mid-back. Sleeve length: approx. 39 (40) 41 (41) 42 (42) cm.

Size guide: Meadow Blouse English is a blouse knitted in garter stitch with a bateau neckline and slight width in both the body and sleeves. The body and sleeves are edged with an icord. The blouse has a construction with wide attached sleeves, giving it a slightly oversized look. This means it has a positive ease of about 10-20 cm and is designed to fit loosely on the body. Sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) correspond to bust measurements of approximately 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) cm. Measure yourself and determine your size before you start knitting the blouse.

Gauge: 16 sts x 28 rows in garter stitch pattern (2 rows stockinette stitch and 1 row purl) on 6.0 mm needles = 10 x 10 cm.

Suggested yarn: Approx. 400 (400-450) 450 (450-500) 550 (600) g Vaya from Lang Yarns (50 g = 200 m).

Suggested needles: Circular needle 6.0 mm (40 and/or 60/80 cm), circular needle 5.0 mm (40 or 80 cm), possibly one double-pointed needle size 6.0 mm for knitting the icord edge.
