Savannah Sweater – a feminine brioche sweater
Size: XS (S) M (L) XL
Size guide: Savannah Sweater should have a positive ease of approx. 10-15 cm relative to your chest/bust measurements. The sweater has a tight ribbing at the bottom, that fits closely to the body and therefore you should calculate with a little extra length, so that the brioche part on the body of the sweater can bulk a little.
Gauge: 16 stitches x 21 rows with brioche on needle 4,5 mm = 10 x 10 cm. Notice, that each row of brioche counts for two rows = 42 rows.
Suggested needles: Circular needle 4,5 mm (40 and/or 80 or 100 cm) and circular needle 3,5 mm (60 or 80 cm).
Measurements of the sweater:
Width: 90 (96) 104 (112) 120 cm. Length: 54 (56) 59 (61) 63 cm measured mid back incl. ribbing at the neckline.
Suggested yarn: ca. 250-300 (300) 300-350 (350-400) 400-450 g Mini Alpakka from Sandnes Garn (50 g = 150 m) together with 100-125 (125) 125-150 (150-175) 175-200 g Tynn Silk Mohair from Sandnes Garn (25 g = 212 m). The two strands are knit together.
