The Isolde Scarf is a narrow and either short or longer scarf knitted in rib with increases and decreases that shape both “tips” of the scarf. The scarf is knitted from one tip back and forth and finished at the opposite tip. Increases and decreases are made at each end to create the shape.

Isolde Scarf – simple and stylish cashmere scarf

Sizes: Small (large)

Measurements: Length from tip to tip: approx. 80 (137) cm. Width at the middle: 9.5 (12.5) cm. 

Size guide: The Isolde Scarf can be knitted as a small neckerchief, which can be tied once around the neck or used as a slightly larger scarf, which can be tied twice around the neck.

Gauge: 35 sts x 38 rows in rib stitch on 3.0 mm needles = 10 x 10 cm.

Suggested yarn: approx. 17 (42) g Cashmere Lace from Lang Yarns (25 g = 165 m).

Suggested needles: Circular needle 3.0 mm (60 or 80 cm). Alternatively, use jumper needles or long double-pointed needles of the same size.

Difficulty: Experienced beginner – intermediate.
