Cozy Winter Socks ENGLISH

kr.35,00

This pattern is in English.

The Cozy Winter Socks are thick slippers or cozy lounge socks, worked double in two halves that are folded into each other. First, the toe of one half is worked, then the foot and heel, which is shaped using short rows (a so-called tomato heel). After that, the leg is worked. When the desired leg height has been reached, the sock is worked back in the opposite direction: first the leg, then the heel, then the foot and finally the toe, which is closed using Kitchener stitch (step-by-step guide at the end of the pattern).

Measurements: Foot circumference at mid-foot is 24.5 (26) 27.5 (29) cm / approx. 9¾ (10¼) 10¾ (11½) inches, measured on the outside of the double sock, i.e. the sock will be smaller on the inside in each size. Size guide: The Cozy Winter Socks are worked double and are therefore thick and bulky at first, but they will relax and become less dense with wear. Do not knit the socks too large. Recommended needles: 6.0 mm (US 10) circular needle (80-100 cm / 32-40″) using the magic loop technique, or double-pointed needles in the same size.
